The New American Dream Starts Here

How It Started

I watched the bus map like a hawk, repeating to myself “Seoul National University Station. Seoul National University Station.” The email I received from my new employer instructed me to get off of the airport shuttle at this station, and me and my two 50-lb suitcases were determined not to miss it.

I counted down stops until it was finally my turn, gathered my things, and prepared to step off of the bus into my new life.

But, the bus didn’t stop.

I panicked. I called my employer, no answer. Sent messages, no reply. And as we neared the next stop, I saw the girl in front of me reach her hand up and press a button. It made a very cute “ding-dong” noise, and the bus driver stopped. A-ha. So I should have pressed the button.

Man, it would have been nice to know that before I got here.

My name is Anna Luzader, founder of WhereTu, and moments like this are exactly why this platform exists. After 14 moves across three continents, I have a list of approximately 47,000 things I wish I would have known before moving abroad. I Googled my way through each relocation, and it was exhausting.

Sure, I learned some valuable skills, and some of the challenges I faced were great lessons. Others? Life ruiners. Because when you move to a new country, it feels very much like you’re a baby giraffe learning to walk on marbles. Being prepared and adequately equipped for your move can mean the difference between building a life you love overseas and having to move back in a year.

I've built WhereTu as the solution I wish I had at my first move.

It’s your relocation partner, there with you through leaving, landing, and living, helping you answer the questions that you didn’t even know to ask.

For many existing relocation services, it’s all about the logistics: Here’s how to get a visa, ship your things, find a house. WhereTu is that and then some, because landing isn’t the end of your journey, it’s just another beginning. And that’s why Americans who move abroad deserve an end-to-end relocation service that goes beyond paperwork and packing.

About the Founder

After a decade of living across Africa and Asia, first in Southern Africa then in South Korea, Anna Luzader has become a trusted voice on cross-cultural transitions, identity shifts, and the realities of starting over in a new country. Her work has included partnerships with international tourism boards, speaking on panels for solo female travelers, and coaching clients through the logistical and psychological layers of relocating across borders.

WhereTu is the culmination of her lived experience: the reinventions, the losses, the belonging found in unexpected places, and the quiet courage it takes to build a life far from home. Anna created WhereTu to make international moves more accessible, supported, and deeply human, blending strategic guidance with the understanding that relocation is never just paperwork, but a profound personal transformation. Her belief is simple: life expands when we step beyond the borders we were born into. And WhereTu exists to help people make that expansion a reality.
